Summary Scope of Work

Development of a bankable business plan towards attainment of working capital for financing the proposed provision of low- and middle-income housing as rental stock at the proposed Phola Heights Development,

 

Participating in the implementation of, the project at Enhlanzeni, Thembisa, known as Phola Heights Development and capital raising of approximately R 230 m (Two Hundred and Thirty Million Rand).

Key Features

  1. Approaching financiers and investors, to raise loan and venture capital

  2. Acting as lead financial advisor to the Client in this particular transaction.

  3. Acting as corporate advisor to the Client, to work in conjunction with the Client during project implementation.

The advisory role included:

  • Reviewing the market, financial and other information on the project provided by The Client to assess financial feasibility of the Business;

  • Undertaking research on the market for the proposed project;

  • Developing a detailed business plan, including a financial model for the project;

  • Advising on an appropriate financing structure(s) and assist in structuring as appropriate;

  • Liaising with other professionals and sponsors as necessary on the assignment;

  • Approaching investors or financiers for project financing through meetings or presentations; and

  • Assisting in negotiations with investors and financiers and in concluding the finance raising;

  • Providing any additional Engineering, Architectural and Environmental design and planning services required to enable project pricing as was requested by the Client, if such work have not already been completed by the client.
