Summary Scope of Work
Analysing the feasibility of and designing a water treatment process for a new water treatment works (WTW) to augment ZESCO’s two existing WTW modules. Raw water for the new plant would be abstracted from the Itezhi Tezhi Dam. Assessment of the required distribution and storage infrastructure and environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) were also done.
This involved reviewing the existing operation regime and system design to identify operational and design gaps; conducting field investigations and/or consultations to confirm site conditions, and other technical and human factors that may influence design and construction of the water supply system.
